I’m here again to share to you how I do my own veggie salads.
Actually, in my past few years I ain't really into eating a lot of veggies everyday because its time consuming to prepare instead of just getting what mama cooks and prepares for us but I realized that I need to devour hale and hearty foods nowadays and it’s really required for us too to stay fit and healthy and due to I’m gaining weight again, so I really have to! I'm already 23 and not getting any younger any more I don’t wanna end up like piggy whatever when I already reach my marrying age! (And that’s start on my 25th. I don’t like the pictures on my mind! Urgh!) I really need to keep away from rice and substitute it with much lighter carbs. I had two options on making my salads. One was with chicken and the other one is substituted it with corned-tuna. So I’ll gonna spill the beans and here’s how I make it.
The foodstuffs that you need are the following:
Lettuces (soak it for a minute on mixture of water and salt and wash it properly because it has greasy texture along the leaves just to take it out)
Chicken (grated or chopped, it’s up to you what sizes do you want to put)
Salad dressing (I used here Caesar) optional.
1 boiled egg (1 egg a day is a must and it will add nom to the salad)
1 banana (I chose Latundan because its more way sweet rather than the other kind of bananas and its really for salads) it’s optional.
Arrange the lettuce on plate then put the chicken in the center above it, chopped the boiled egg and the banana into many sections then arrange it circularly along the chicken and for finale, pour some salad dressing. Presto! Nommers!!! I super love the Caesar dressings! You can arrange it in any arrangement do you want as long as it satisfies you! J

With a 2 piece of slice bread with Nutella spread. It serves as my desserts.
I’m eating it already. It’s lunch time. I had eaten huge at lunch frequently as I need a lot of energy all throughout the day when it happens that I skip breakfast since I woke up late constantly. (It looks so messy because I put so much Caesar dressings on it. The reason why is, I just so love it!!) lol
As the evening went and its dinner time, I just served myself a little and on bowl compare to my lunch. I didn't put egg and banana because it’s already night and banana is optional.
And the other salad I’m making when I’m about too lazy to fry chicken and boil an egg or I have really no time in doing it, is replacing them with a corned tuna. It’s Corned tuna veggie salad. So easy right? I just opened the can and put the corned tuna on a small plate and with the same procedure in preparing the lettuce in the other bowl and this time I did not used Caesar dressing but a honey mustard then pour it on the lettuce then that’s it! Voilà!

Here’s the corned tuna. I preferred the chili one.
I used the lettuce head. Its round and already curved so its easy to put the corned tuna inside of it without corned tuna falling.
The salad dressing. I really loved salad dressings it adds oomph to the salad.
Lot of stuffs! So much mess on my table! lol
Anyhoo, healthy food is expensive so don’t waste any food that you’ll eat and it’s so hard to maintain but you should pursue it if you really want and determine to have a fit and healthy body. You just need to discipline yourself of what to eat and what not to eat to eschew illness and unwanted fats and of course with the collaboration of exercise.
